[PC] "X2: The Threat" Ships to Retail from Enlight - posted by Erich Becker at 3:04 pm CDT
One of over 250 games coming out this holiday season, Enlight's X2: The Threat is getting some very good marks in early previews. You too will be able to try the game out as Enlight has announced the game has shipped to retail and should be on store shelves very soon, if not right now.
In addition to the featuring graphics and in depth gameplay, X²: The Threat exhibits an amazingly open-ended X-universe that is twice the size featured in its predecessor, X: Beyond the Frontier. "The sheer size of the universe and the astounding number of ships to fly, solar systems to visit and commodities to buy blew me away. X2 makes you feel like you're a part of a living, breathing cosmos," said Avault's Dustin Arient in his first look at the epic space simulation.

[PC] Ubi Soft Ships "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" - posted by Erich Becker at 2:53 pm CDT
Ubi Soft has shipped the last version of their hit action/adventure, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The wall-running, time-screwing game is being hailed by many publications as one of the best games of the year. Not having been able to play the game as of yet, although it is on my todo list, I can't confirm those statments but the game certainly looks really cool.
If you don't own a console, and want to get the "hook up" with the PC version, now is your chance, although, if playing other games in this genre on PC is any indication, a gamepad is highly recommended.

[Community] Games Xtreme Reviews "Max Payne 2" - posted by Erich Becker at 2:01 pm CDT
Games Xtreme have put up the review of Max Payne 2, giving it 95% and the Editor's Choice award. You can see the full review by clicking the link below, but be sure to read the provided snippet before heading off.
"I like a good story and I like a good game, when you can combine story and game into one big package you’re bound to get a winner with me. The first Max Payne laid the foundations for a gritty, twisted descent into the film-Noir inspired world that Remedy had created. Their grasp of storytelling and visual imagery has still really not been bettered in a third person shooter yet, and with Max Payne 2 – Remedy once more proves without a shadow of a doubt – they are becoming the Kings of Noir."
